Built of fully integrated and welded all-steel plate, this pneumatic shear is designed for durability and longevity. The air-powered sheet metal shear is capable of cutting up to 52"-wide sheet metal and is suitable for schools and shops working with 16 gauge mild steel or lighter. It operates using compressed air between 90 and 115 PSI, requiring no electrical power. A regulator allows for airflow control, enabling cutting at 20 strokes per minute for high production efficiency. The high-chromium carbon blades feature multiple cutting surfaces to extend the time between re-sharpening, while integral oilers facilitate maintenance and reduce friction for smooth operation. The working table is equipped with integrated squaring stops and a scale, and includes front and back material supports along with a side guide. A manual rack and pinion backgauge with quick lock and measuring scale simplifies the process for making repeatable cuts. The shear comes with a 1-year parts warranty, and replacement blades and other parts are kept in stock at the company's Wisconsin headquarters.
