Delrin® AF Blend is a distinct thermoplastic material designed for applications involving moving parts where low friction and extended wear life are essential. This material features a combination of PTFE fibers uniformly dispersed in Delrin® acetal resin, with the standard formulation containing 13% PTFE fiber-filled LF-13, and always includes 13% PTFE powder-filled components. For those requiring enhanced properties, Delrin® 100AF, which contains 20% PTFE, is available through custom orders. Delrin® 100AF also holds full certification for US Naval specifications (DE588). The specifications and compliance certifications ensure its suitability for a variety of demanding applications.
