Delrin® AF Blend is a thermoplastic material designed for moving parts where low friction and extended wear life are essential. This unique blend contains 13% PTFE fibers uniformly dispersed in Delrin® acetal resin, classified as the Standard Grade, and features both LF-13 and 13% PTFE powder-filled configurations. Additionally, a full-strength variant, Delrin 100AF, which contains 20% PTFE, is available on a custom order basis. The product designation DE588 refers to Delrin® 100AF, which is fully certified for US Naval specifications. This material is ideal for applications requiring durability and reduced friction.
