Tygon® E-1000 peristaltic pump tubing is a non-DEHP food, beverage, and laboratory tubing designed for pumpable applications in food and beverage dispensing. This soft and flexible tubing formulation replaces traditional DEHP plasticizers with non-DEHP alternatives, ensuring safety without compromising performance. It has undergone rigorous testing to meet high physical standards, providing low-temperature resilience and resistance to corrosive chemicals, comparable to the previous Tygon® R-1000 tubing. Tygon® ultra-soft tubing effectively resists twisting and collapse, which are common issues encountered with other tubing products, and maintains flexibility at temperatures as low as -67° F (-55° C). With an extremely low durometer, it is particularly suitable for use with low-torque or battery-driven peristaltic pumps, and it typically outlasts silicone tubing in these applications by a factor of two to one.
