Oil-filled nylon, available in green color, features a special formulation of liquid lubricant encapsulated during manufacture, ensuring true lubrication at the bearing surface. This material is particularly suitable for applications where maintenance lubrication is challenging or impractical. Additionally, oil-filled nylon minimizes moisture adsorption, making it an ideal choice for submerged or critical tolerance applications. For food contact applications, oil-filled nylon is also offered in a natural-oil version, which lacks pigment, enabling compliance with FDA regulations 21 CFR, sec. 177.15 and USDA 3A sanitary standards 20-17 for direct food contact.
