Oil-filled nylon, available in green color, features a special formulation of liquid lubricant encapsulated during manufacture, allowing for true lubrication at the bearing surface. This material is ideal for applications where maintenance lubrication is difficult or impossible, and it also limits moisture adsorption, making it suitable for submerged or critical tolerance applications. Additionally, oil-filled nylon is offered in a natural-oil version for food contact applications, with its absence of pigment enabling compliance with FDA regulations 21 CFR, Sec. 177.15 and USDA 3A sanitary standards 20-17 for direct contact with food.
