Nylatron® NSM nylon is a premier bearing and wear nylon product, created using Quadrant's proprietary Monocast® process. This Type 6 nylon formulation is enhanced with solid lubricant additives, providing self-lubricating properties along with high pressure and velocity resilience, as well as superior wear resistance. Nylatron NSM is designed for demanding applications that require larger-sized components, making it particularly suitable for bearings, gears, and wear pads. In wear applications, it demonstrates a remarkable lifespan, lasting up to 10 times longer than standard Type 6 nylon.
