Ertalyte® PET-P is an unreinforced, semi-crystalline thermoplastic polyester known for its excellent dimensional stability, wear resistance, low coefficient of friction, high strength, and resistance to moderately acidic solutions. This material is capable of sustaining high loads and enduring wear conditions, offering good chemical and abrasion resistance. Its low moisture absorption allows for mechanical and electrical properties to remain virtually unaffected by moisture. Additionally, Ertalyte TX is an internally lubricated version of PET-P that provides enhanced wear resistance and inertness compared to general-purpose nylons or acetals.
