ThermaShield creates a thermal buffer between wires, hoses, and cables in high-temperature environments. Engineered by laminating an aluminized metallic heat shield to a layer of strong, tightly braided fiberglass insulation, ThermaShield provides superior protection from radiant heat by reflecting it away from sensitive electronics, wiring, and hoses. The product is available in four styles: tube, convoluted, wrap, and flat, offering a full range of solutions for various applications. The wrap and flat products utilize a very aggressive, high-temperature adhesive that eliminates the need for high-temp Mylar tape or other adhesives. ThermaShield products can withstand temperatures up to 1,200°F without delaminating, turning brittle, or suffering adhesive failure, making them ideal for situations where protection from radiant heat is of primary concern.
