The Flexo PET (PT) grade is designed for use in electronics, automotive, marine, and industrial wire harnessing applications where cost efficiency and durability are paramount. This product features a unique braided construction that allows for wide expandability, facilitating quick and easy installation over large connectors and long runs. PT is applicable in environments ranging from small office/home office settings to high-tech wire and cable harnesses. It is available in a wide array of colors and sizes, making systematic color coding in complex wiring and cabling schemes straightforward. The sleeving is braided from 10 mil polyethylene terephthalate (PET) monofilament yarns, which provide a wide operating temperature range and resistance to chemical degradation, UV radiation, and abrasion. The sleeving cuts cleanly and easily with a hot knife, ensuring that once installed, it will enhance and protect any wire, hose, or cable application.
