Flexo Clean Cut, developed by Techflex, features polyethylene terephthalate filaments adjusted for unique physical characteristics that allow it to be cut with ordinary scissors, maintaining an extraordinarily fray-resistant end without the use of chemical binders or adhesives. This makes it particularly suitable for field installers and scenarios where a hot knife is unavailable. Its fray-resistant properties permit frequent expansion of the cut end without unraveling. When cut with a hot knife, Clean Cut yields a clean, smooth, and virtually frayless end. The product is braided for maximum coverage while still facilitating enough expansion for easy installation over plugs and connectors.
