The Flexo PET (PT) grade is designed for use in electronics, automotive, marine, and industrial wire harnessing applications where cost efficiency and durability are essential. It features a unique braided construction that offers wide expandability for quick and easy installation over large connectors and long runs. The PT grade is suitable for a variety of applications, from small office/home office settings to high-tech wire and cable harnesses. It comes in a diverse range of colors and sizes, facilitating easy and systematic color coding in complex wiring and cabling schemes. The sleeving is made from 10 mil polyethylene terephthalate (PET) monofilament yarns and is characterized by a wide operating temperature range, as well as resistance to chemical degradation, UV radiation, and abrasion. The material can be cut easily and cleanly with a hot knife, and once installed, it enhances the appearance and protection of any wire, hose, or cable application.
