Insultherm is an extremely high temperature resistant sleeve designed for thermal protection of wires, cables, and hoses in extreme environments, such as engine manifolds and exhaust systems. The kit includes a braided fiberglass yarn construction saturated with high temperature resins, which enhances stability and reduces irritating fiberglass dust during cutting and installation. This durable sleeving maintains its tight structure under extreme vibration, abrasion, mechanical stress, and temperature variations. Insultherm is available in a variety of diameters and can be cut cleanly with scissors, facilitating easy installation over numerous applications to deflect or retain heat in environments reaching up to 1,200°F.
