Insultherm is an extremely high temperature resistant sleeve designed for thermal protection of wires, cables, and hoses exposed to continuous and extreme high temperature environments, such as engine manifolds and exhaust systems. This product is braided from fiberglass yarns and saturated with high temperature resins, enhancing stability while minimizing irritating fiberglass dusting during cutting and installation. Insultherm is both tough and durable, retaining its structure under extreme vibration, abrasion, mechanical stress, and temperature variations. The sleeving is available in a wide range of diameters, allowing it to be cut cleanly with scissors for easy installation over various applications to deflect or retain heat in environments up to 1,200°F.
