Insultherm is an extremely high temperature resistant sleeve designed for thermal protection of wires, cables, and hoses exposed to continuous and extreme high temperature environments such as engine manifolds and exhaust systems. The product is braided from fiberglass yarns and saturated with high temperature resins, enhancing stability and minimizing fiberglass dusting during cutting and installation. Insultherm is tough and durable, retaining its tight structure under extreme vibration, abrasion, mechanical stress, and temperature variations. The sleeving is available in a wide range of diameters, cuts cleanly with scissors, and installs easily over various applications to deflect or retain heat in environments up to 1,200°F.
