ThermaShield creates a thermal buffer between wires, hoses, and cables and high-temperature environments, providing superior protection from radiant heat. Engineered by laminating an aluminized metallic heat shield to a layer of strong, tightly braided fiberglass insulation, ThermaShield effectively reflects heat away from sensitive electronics, wiring, and hoses. The kit includes four styles: tube, convoluted, wrap, and flat, offering solutions for various applications. The wrap and flat products feature a high-temperature adhesive that eliminates the need for Mylar tape or other adhesives. ThermaShield products can endure temperatures up to 1,200°F without delaminating, turning brittle, or suffering adhesive failure, making them ideal for situations where radiant heat protection is essential.
