ThermaShield creates a thermal buffer between wires, hoses, and cables in high-temperature environments. It is engineered by laminating an aluminized metallic heat shield to a layer of strong, tightly braided fiberglass insulation, which provides superior protection from radiant heat by reflecting it away from sensitive electronics, wiring, and hoses. The product line includes four styles: tube, convoluted, wrap, and flat, offering a comprehensive range of solutions for various applications. The wrap and flat products feature a very aggressive, high-temperature adhesive that removes the need for high-temp Mylar tape or other adhesives. ThermaShield products can withstand temperatures up to 1,200°F without delaminating, becoming brittle, or experiencing adhesive failure, making them ideal for situations where radiant heat protection is crucial.
