Insultherm is an extremely high temperature resistant sleeve designed for thermal protection of wires, cables, and hoses exposed to continuous extreme high temperature environments, such as engine manifolds and exhaust systems. The sleeving is made from braided fiberglass yarns saturated with high temperature resins, enhancing stability and minimizing irritating fiberglass dusting during cutting and installation. It is tough and durable, maintaining its structure under extreme vibration, abrasion, mechanical stress, and temperature variations. Insultherm is available in a wide range of diameters, cuts cleanly with scissors, and installs easily over various applications to deflect or retain heat in environments up to 1,200°F.
