Insultherm is an extremely high-temperature resistant sleeve designed for thermal protection of wires, cables, and hoses exposed to continuous and extreme high-temperature environments, such as engine manifolds and exhaust systems. This product is made from braided fiberglass yarns and is saturated with high-temperature resins, which enhance its stability and reduce irritating fiberglass dust during cutting and installation. The tough and durable sleeving maintains its tight structure under severe vibration, abrasion, mechanical stress, and temperature variations. Insultherm is available in a wide range of diameters, cuts cleanly with scissors, and installs easily over various applications to deflect or retain heat in environments up to 1,200°F.
