Insultherm is an extremely high temperature resistant sleeve designed for thermal protection of wires, cables, and hoses exposed to continuous and extreme high temperature environments, such as engine manifolds and exhaust systems. The product is braided from fiberglass yarns and saturated with high temperature resins, enhancing stability and reducing irritating fiberglass dusting during cutting and installation. It exhibits toughness and durability, maintaining its tight structure under extreme vibration, abrasion, mechanical stress, and temperature fluctuations. Insultherm is offered in a variety of diameters, is easy to cut cleanly with scissors, and installs seamlessly over a range of applications to effectively deflect or retain heat in environments reaching up to 1,200°F.
