ThermaShield creates a thermal buffer between your wires, hoses, and cables and the high-temperature environments surrounding them. It is engineered by laminating an aluminized metallic heat shield to a layer of strong, tightly braided fiberglass insulation, providing superior protection from radiant heat by reflecting it away from sensitive electronics, wiring, and hoses. ThermaShield is available in four styles: tube, convoluted, wrap, and flat, offering a full range of solutions for various applications. The wrap and flat products utilize a very aggressive, high-temperature adhesive that eliminates the necessity for high-temp Mylar tape or other adhesive. With a temperature endurance of up to 1,200°F, ThermaShield products do not delaminate, turn brittle, or experience adhesive failure, making them ideal for any situation where protection from radiant heat is paramount.
