Wheaton® sample vials are available in 2ml (0.07oz) or 4ml sizes, featuring an amber 8-425 finish with a PTFE-faced 14B rubber liner, crafted from type I borosilicate glass. The Vial File® offers a compact storage solution for samples, housing the vials in individual partitions within a clear polystyrene case, which includes foam inserts for added protection. Each Vial File package contains 60 - 2ml vials or 40 - 4ml vials, along with a clear plastic hinged case, partitions, and an alphanumerical indexing card for easy identification. Clear vials adhere to ASTM type I, class A and USP type I standards to ensure pH balance and sample integrity, while amber vials are made from 320 amber glass to safeguard light-sensitive samples. Users can choose between solid or open-top black phenolic screw caps with a 14B rubber liner suitable for aqueous applications, or PTFE-faced options for organic work. Additionally, partitions and index cards are available for separate purchase, and all caps are attached to the vials for convenience. This product carries a warning regarding exposure to chemicals including tetrafluoroethylene, known to the state of California to cause cancer, in accordance with Prop 65 regulations.
