Wheaton® sample vials in lab file are packaged in corrugated trays with partitions, featuring clear vials manufactured from 33 low extractable borosilicate glass that conforms to ASTM Type I, Class A and USP Type I requirements. The shorty vials have a low profile for greater stability and reduced dead volume above the sample, making them ideal for compound storage. Models WH-225012 and WH-225014 include a white marking area for sample identification, while black phenolic screw caps are attached to the vials. It is recommended to use 14B rubber lined caps for aqueous samples and PTFE faced 14B rubber lined caps for organic samples. Both vials and caps are autoclavable, and replacement caps are available for separate purchase. The 2 mL vials are compatible with the M-T vial file, WH-228778, and the 4 mL vials fit the M-T vial file, WH-228780.
