Kimble® Kimax® low form Griffin beakers are designed for strength and durability, offering high resistance to chemical attack and thermal shock, making them a reliable choice in research laboratories. These beakers feature a thick, slightly flared, beaded top and a spout that provides excellent pouring characteristics. The improved mechanical and thermal properties are a result of the uniform sidewall and bottom thickness, allowing for use on a hotplate. Each size includes a durable matte finish marking area suitable for use with an ordinary pencil, along with an easy-to-read white graduated scale for measuring and/or mixing liquids, available in capacities ranging from 20 to 4000 ml. They conform to ASTM method D2070 and meet ASTM specification E960, Type I requirements. Manufactured from 33 expansion, low extractable borosilicate glass, these beakers comply with USP Type I and ASTM E438, Type I, Class A requirements.
