The Duran® Red GL45 3-port connection cap is constructed from PBT and features a silicone gasket along with stainless steel ports, making it an ideal component for perfusion circuits in cell culture or for the oxygenation and aeration of very small samples. This durable tubing connection system is compatible with all sizes of GL45 media bottles, accommodating volumes from 100ml to 20,000ml. The bottle top adapter ensures the transfer of liquids within a closed and sterile system. It is particularly suited for chemistry, life science, and biopharma laboratories. The cap includes three barbed male hose connectors on both the top and bottom assemblies, designed for flexible tubing with an 8.0 mm inner diameter. The stainless steel center rotates freely, allowing the bottle to be unscrewed without disconnecting the tubing, while the slightly splayed top connectors facilitate easier tubing attachment. All connectors and the body are made from type 316L (1.4404 / S31603) stainless steel and are fully welded to prevent entrapment voids. The hygienic, electropolished surface ensures efficient cleaning and sterilization. A silicone gasket ensures a liquid-tight seal in conjunction with the red PBT GL45 screw cap. This product has a wide temperature usage range of up to 180°C and is autoclavable at 121°C for 15 minutes. It is retrace coded for full traceability and is suitable for applications such as sterile liquid transfer between containers, liquid sampling from larger containers into bottles, serving as a reservoir cap for laboratory instruments, and as port assemblies for spinner flasks and cell culture vessels.
