The Wheaton® 13mm seal is designed with a center tear-out aluminum feature that exposes the septa when ready for use. This seal has a size of 13mm and is equipped with a PTFE/red rubber septa liner, with a natural color. It serves as an ideal closure for chromatography vials and various instrumentation applications. The open-top design allows for easy filling or retrieval of contents using a syringe. Manufactured by Wheaton® Science, the associated part number is 224222-01. Additionally, it is important to note that this product can expose users to chemicals including tetrafluoroethylene, which are known to the state of California to cause cancer, as indicated by the Prop 65 warning.
