The Duran® Youtility Bottle is made of amber borosilicate glass and features a GL45 neck finish with a cyan-colored screw cap and pouring ring, with a nominal volume of 1000ml, available in a case of 4. This new generation of glass laboratory bottles offers an ergonomic shape and a variety of dedicated accessories that enhance handling, sample identification, and overall usability. Each bottle is supplied as a complete system, including a pouring ring (PP1) and a GL45 cap (PP1). It is constructed from graduated borosilicate 3.3 pharmacopoeial type 1 glass, designed with a special grip on both sides for safer handling compared to standard bottles. The innovative thread design facilitates quicker opening and closing, making it compatible with DIN GL45 closures and other accessories. Its slim shape optimizes space in autoclaves and laboratory refrigerators, while a clearly defined labeling area accommodates optional self-adhesive Youtility bottle labels. The bottle provides good chemical resistance and high-temperature resistance. Optional replacement GL45 Youtility screw caps, recognizable by their cyan color (part # DUR-292292802), are made from food-grade polypropylene (PP1) and feature an ergonomic design with grooves for easier tightening and removal, especially beneficial for smaller hands or gloved hands. The Youtility screw cap's improved thread ensures compatibility with DIN GL45 bottle threads and offers a liquid-tight seal. A predefined labeling area on the cap works with dedicated Duran self-adhesive Youtility labels. Additionally, colorful silicone GL45 bottle tags (part # DUR-292432904) can be securely attached around the neck of the Youtility bottle and are available in several distinct colors.
