The Protective Labeling System is designed to provide labels that withstand harsh laboratory conditions, featuring clear tape that protects labels from environments such as freezers, autoclaves, acids, alkalies, and organic solvents. Test results confirm that the tape maintains a secure bond with no discoloration after being autoclaved for 40 minutes at 125°C (258°F) and remains intact after one week in liquid nitrogen at -196°C (-321°F). All tape sizes are 1 mil (0.001") thick with an additional 1 mil (0.001") of acrylic adhesive. The durable tape dispenser, molded from strong ABS plastic, includes a steel serrated cutting blade and a tape roll held in place by an aluminum roller with a spring-loaded cover. There is an optional epoxy-coated, weighted steel base to minimize slippage on the benchtop while dispensing, complete with four non-slip rubber feet and screws. The clear polypropylene tape exhibits high resistance to chemicals and moisture, making it suitable for heavy-duty lab use, while the white paper labels can accommodate any type of marker, ideal for labeling labware, bottles, or samples.
