The kit offers a working volume of a culture tube combined with the convenience of a 96 well plate format, suitable for various processes such as sequencing, precipitations, and dilutions, and is compatible with deep freezing work or sample storage. It is individually packaged and available in sterile or non-sterile options. Designed for manual 8 and 12 multi-channel pipetting procedures, it is compatible with robotic sampling processors and automated liquid handling systems, including ZYMARK, TECAN, HAMILTON RASYS, and BECKMAN, with side loader collars required for side loading Beckman Biomek systems. The plates are molded from autoclavable polypropylene, with each 2ml well featuring a round bottom for easy sample retrieval and alphanumerically identified for convenience. An optional specially designed polypropylene, keyed fit cover separates each well with a sealing ring to reduce evaporation and enhance stable stacking of plates. The product is steam autoclavable at 121°C (250°F) and measures 12.8 x 8.5 x 4.1 cm (5 x 3 x 1"). Note that sterilized products are not returnable.
