The strong, permanent adhesive on these labels is designed to withstand cold storage temperatures and maintain adhesion to various surfaces including glass, plastic, and cardboard, even in liquid nitrogen environments as low as -196°C. This labeling kit is ideal for organizing and labeling samples for both short and long-term cold storage. The labels come in a DOT and rectangle shape, specifically sized for 0.5 to 2.0 ml cryogenic tubes, with dimensions of 67 x 25 mm (2.6 x 1.0 inches) suitable for labeling large tubes, cryo boxes, and racks. The labels are available in sheets or rolls, and the sheets can be printed using a standard ink jet or laser printer with the appropriate template. Each coated label has an overall thickness of 7 mil, and it is recommended to use non-water soluble printer inks and markers or a wet surface pen (F13382-0000) for optimal results. For easy label removal, the use of Label-Off™ label remover (F17077-0000) is advised. Additionally, these labels are autoclavable at 121°C (250°F).
