This polypropylene jar enhances the classic tapered square design with a larger opening for easier placement and removal of slides. It features a polypropylene screw cap measuring 5.3 cm in diameter, with a flat top, easy grip knurled edge, deep thread, and a seal ring to prevent leaks. The jar contains five internal slots that can hold up to 10 standard 25 x 75 mm (1 x 3") slides back to back. Its base diameter is 6 cm (2"), and the height is 11.4 cm (4"). The jar is steam autoclavable at 121°C (250°F), with the recommendation to remove the cap when autoclaving.
