These lightweight pipetting devices are designed for quick and accurate one-handed operation, providing precision at an affordable price. The ergonomic design enhances comfort and reduces the risk of hand and wrist strain from repetitive motions. Featuring U.S. Patent 7,093,507 and European Patent E1477227A2, the design allows the arm to remain in a more natural, lowered position, in contrast to traditional pipettors that require elevation of the arm and elbow. The optimally located thumb wheel facilitates a relaxed grip and ease of rotation for precise aspirating or dispensing down to single drops, and it can be used to blow out the pipette. The self-stabilizing collar inside the silicone chuck accommodates both glass and plastic pipettes. With a compact design that adds only 15.2 cm (6 inches) to the pipette length, these devices are suitable for use in fume hoods and controlled environment glove boxes. They are available in three color-coded pipette volumes, resistant to acids, alkalis, and most solvents, and can be disassembled for cleaning.
