The sturdy and stable support stand features a rust-proof polycarbonate plastic base and a stainless steel support rod measuring 46 cm in height with a 7.9 mm diameter (18 x "). The support rod is secured to the base using two hex nuts. The rod is offset and mounts to a base with a diameter of 20.8 cm (8"), providing ample space for larger vessels. This support stand is designed to operate within a useful temperature range of +135°C (275°F) to -135°C (-211°F) and is suitable for autoclaving at 121°C (250°F). It ships unassembled for convenience.
