Made especially for use with beakers and waterbaths, these space-saving racks are ideal for small quantities of tubes and for use in cell culture laboratories. The racks are designed for incubating microtubes in a beaker of water and are constructed from buoyant TPX® brand polymethylpentene, featuring tiny bubbles throughout for additional buoyancy. Tubes can be easily inserted from the top and removed by pressing the rack down on the bench. The racks can withstand boiling for 30 minutes at 100°C (212°F) and are steam autoclavable at 121°C (250°F). The leg length measures 19mm (3/4") and the thickness is 6.4mm (1/4").
