Lab-Aire® II electric drying racks are designed to accelerate the drying of labware by utilizing warm, circulating air while maintaining a compact footprint that minimizes benchtop space. Each unit offers 400 watts of drying power, gently circulating heated air to decrease drying time, and features a replaceable foam filter that ensures the warmed air remains dust-free. The heat selector knob provides three temperature settings: high, medium, and low, and the power button illuminates when the unit is in use. It is equipped with an 8-amp @ 120V (4-amp @ 230V) circuit breaker and an independent thermo-fuse for overheat protection. Constructed from rugged ABS plastic for corrosion resistance, the drying racks include drip/storage trays with scalloped wells to accommodate long, thin labware. Adjustable pegs in small (3"), medium (4"), and large (5") sizes can be repositioned to hold various labware items such as beakers, flasks, bottles, test tubes, and cylinders. Additionally, supplied plugs can be inserted into unused peg holes to redirect air flow. Removable polypropylene baskets provide storage for small labware and extra pegs. Users can opt for a single-sided model for space efficiency or a double-sided model to increase capacity with minimal footprint expansion. The system is CE marked and customizable with extra accessories and various sizes and configurations available to suit individual needs.
