Lab-Aire® II electric drying racks accelerate drying of labware with warm, circulating air while their compact footprint uses minimal benchtop space. The 230V models are CE marked and offer 400 watts of drying power that gently circulates heated air into and around items to decrease drying time. Efficiency is enhanced with a replaceable foam filter that keeps warmed air dust-free. The heat selector knob allows for three temperature settings: high, medium, and low. A power button illuminates when in use, and the unit is equipped with an 8-amp @ 120V (4-amp @ 230V) circuit breaker and an independent thermo-fuse that protects against overheating. The freestanding design features sturdy bases for excellent balance, allowing placement on any flat surface. The rugged ABS plastic construction ensures durability and easy cleaning. Drip/storage trays contain scalloped wells to hold long thin labware, and adjustable pegs in small (3"), medium (4"), and large (5") sizes can be repositioned to accommodate a variety of labware including beakers, flasks, bottles, test tubes, and cylinders. Airflow can be redirected by using plugs in unused peg holes. Removable polypropylene baskets serve as storage for small labware and extra pegs. Options include single-sided models for wall placement and double-sided models that double capacity with minimal increase in footprint, along with extra accessories and a variety of sizes/configurations to create a customized drying system.
