The Protective labeling system is designed to provide labels that withstand harsh laboratory conditions, featuring clear tape that protects labels from exposure to the freezer, autoclave, acids, alkalis, and organic solvents. Test results demonstrate that the tape remains securely affixed with no discoloration after being autoclaved for 40 minutes at 125°C (258°F) and also after one week in liquid nitrogen at -196°C (-321°F). The tape is 1 mil (0.001") thick and includes 1 mil (0.001") of acrylic adhesive. The durable tape dispenser is made from strong ABS plastic and features a steel serrated cutting blade, with the tape roll secured in place by an aluminum roller and spring-loaded cover. An optional epoxy-coated weighted steel base minimizes slippage on the benchtop during tape dispensing and includes four non-slip rubber feet and screws. The clear polypropylene tape exhibits high resistance to chemicals and moisture, making it versatile for heavy-duty laboratory use. White paper labels are designed to accept any kind of marker, making them ideal for labeling labware, bottles, or samples under the clear tape. The product is compliant with relevant certifications; however, all items are sold separately.
