The strong, permanent adhesive on these labels withstands cold storage temperatures and maintains adhesion to glass, plastic, cardboard, and more, even in liquid nitrogen. They are designed for organizing and labeling samples for both short and long-term cold storage, making them ideal for environments as low as -196°C. The DOT and rectangular shaped labels are sized for 0.5 to 2.0 ml cryogenic tubes and measure 67 x 25 mm (2.6 x 1.0 inches), making them suitable for large tube, cryo box, and rack labeling. These labels are available in sheets or rolls, with sheets compatible for feeding through standard inkjet or laser printers utilizing the appropriate template. The overall thickness of the coated label is 7 mil, and they can be used with non-water soluble printer inks and markers or with a wet surface pen. For easy removal, Label-Off™ label remover is recommended, and the labels are autoclavable at 121°C (250°F).
