Safety-vented wash bottles are designed to comply with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS) as well as OSHA's HazCom 2012 requirements for workplace labels. Each bottle is pre-printed with essential information including the chemical name and formula, GHS pictogram and signal word, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Section 704 four-color diamond, health hazards, Chemical Abstract System (CAS) number, and suggested protective clothing and equipment. The unique valve design prevents pressure build-up, thereby eliminating dangerous chemical drips, and allows for dispensing in both upright and inverted positions. The bottles feature a wide mouth (53mm, 2") for easy refilling and are made of translucent LDPE; sodium hypochlorite is stored in a white LDPE bottle for light protection between 230 and 450nm, while toluene is in a red LDPE bottle. Color-coded polypropylene closures facilitate quick identification. The kit includes 500ml bottles (4 per bag) and 1000ml bottles (2 per bag), with an assortment offering one each of acetone, isopropanol, bleach, and ethanol.
