Safety-vented wash bottles are designed to comply with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS) and OSHA's HazCom 2012 requirements regarding workplace labels. Each bottle features pre-printed information that includes the chemical name, formula, GHS pictogram, signal word, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Section 704 four-color diamond, health hazards, Chemical Abstract System (CAS) number, and suggested protective clothing and equipment. The unique valve design prevents pressure build-up, thus eliminating potentially dangerous chemical drips, and allows for dispensing in both upright or inverted positions. The bottles have a wide mouth measuring 53mm (2") for easy refilling, and are made of translucent LDPE — with a white LDPE bottle for sodium hypochlorite providing light protection between 230 and 450nm, and a red LDPE bottle for toluene. Color-coded polypropylene closures enhance quick and easy identification. The kit includes 500ml bottles in quantities of 4 per bag and 1000ml bottles in quantities of 2 per bag, featuring an assortment of four per bag that includes one each of acetone, isopropanol, bleach, and ethanol.
