Safety-vented wash bottles are designed to ensure compliance with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS) and OSHA's HazCom 2012 requirements related to workplace labels. Each bottle is pre-printed with essential information including the chemical name and formula, GHS pictogram and signal word, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) section 704 four-color diamond, health hazards, Chemical Abstract System (CAS) number, and suggested protective clothing and equipment. The unique valve system prevents pressure build-up, eliminating potentially dangerous chemical drips, and allows for dispensing the wash bottle in either an upright or inverted position. The bottles feature a wide mouth of 53mm (2") for easy refilling and are made from translucent LDPE, with sodium hypochlorite in a white LDPE for light protection between 230 and 450nm, and toluene in a red LDPE bottle. Additionally, color-coded polypropylene closures facilitate quick and easy identification. The kit includes 500ml bottles sold in packs of 4 and 1000ml bottles sold in packs of 2; the assortment consists of 4 bottles per bag, including one each of acetone, isopropanol, bleach, and ethanol.
