Safety-vented wash bottles are designed to ensure compliance with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS) and OSHA's HazCom 2012 requirements regarding workplace labels. Each bottle comes pre-printed with essential safety information including the chemical name and formula, GHS pictogram and signal word, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Section 704 four-color diamond, health hazards, Chemical Abstract System (CAS) number, and recommended protective clothing and equipment. The unique valve mechanism prevents pressure build-up, eliminating potentially hazardous chemical drips and enabling dispensing in both upright and inverted positions. These bottles feature a wide mouth measuring 53mm (2") for easy refilling and are made of translucent low-density polyethylene (LDPE); specific materials denote light protection for certain chemicals, such as sodium hypochlorite in white LDPE for wavelengths between 230 and 450nm, and toluene in a red LDPE bottle. Color-coded polypropylene closures facilitate quick identification, and the kit includes a variety of sizes: 500ml bottles packaged in bags of four and 1000ml bottles in bags of two, with each assortment bag containing one of each of the following: acetone, isopropanol, bleach, and ethanol.
