Feature rich and budget friendly, this high throughput mouse restrainer with dorsal access is designed to provide quick, gentle, and secure immobilization of the mouse, allowing hands to be free for important tasks. The kit includes an easy-to-use entry funnel and tube with two gate positions for efficient use. The top circular opening offers access to dorsal skin, enabling subcutaneous injections to be performed with reduced risk of bites and less likelihood of accidental injury to the user. The design facilitates tail first entry, positioning the mouse's tail outside the restrainer for procedures like tail bleeds and tattooing. The device can be mounted to a table or other surfaces, though hardware is not included. The restrainer is made from durable, crystal clear TPX®, which will not craze or weaken like acrylic restrainers. It is suitable for disinfection with ethanol or common laboratory disinfectants and can be autoclaved for sterilization.
