The magnetic separation racks are designed for all magnetic separation experiments, effectively sequestering magnetic beads to facilitate the addition or decanting of affinity ligands, such as antibodies, streptavidin, or proprietary reagents for nucleic acid coupling. The kit includes patent-pending independent sleeves on 50ml and 15/5ml models, enhancing liquid addition and removal while minimizing accidental fluid loss. The powerful magnets securely hold beads, and a spring plunger on tube sleeves ranging from 1.5ml to 50ml allows for sequestering beads at various heights along the tube wall, enabling efficient bead mixing by simply turning the tube. The 96-well PCR plate model features 24 magnets that hold the plate snugly, attracting beads to the tube walls, while the flat bottom microplate model accommodates all standard microplates, including those with 6, 12, 24, 48, or 96 wells. All racks comply with ANSI standards, and the clear acrylic construction provides an unobstructed view of tube contents.
