The polyethylene plastic table-top Buchner funnel is designed for quick filtration of large volumes, featuring your choice of Fritware® or perforated filter plates. It includes a removable hose barbed connector that accommodates a 12.7 mm I.D. tube and fits into a " NPT bung on the funnel. The funnel supports fixed or removable Fritware® porous filter plates that are 6.4 mm thick and feature a non-porous ring on the perimeter to seal filter paper during use. Fritware® porous filter plates come in two porosities: medium (45-90 microns) and coarse (90-130 microns), with a temperature range from -20°C (-4°F) to a maximum of 52°C (125°F). Additionally, fixed or removable perforated filter plates made of 4.8 mm thick HDPE have 4.8 mm perforations spaced 11 mm apart, suitable for coarse filtration when fixed or for use with cloth or paper filters when removable. The perforated filter plates also have the same temperature range as the Fritware® plates. To enhance the filtration process, the F36820-0118 funnel trowel can be used to smooth out fissures that appear during filtration. Note: Truck shipping is required for 36" funnels.
