Filter large volumes quickly with a polyethylene plastic tabletop Buchner funnel, featuring your choice of Fritware® or perforated filter plate. The funnel includes a removable hose barbed connector that accepts a 12.7 mm (0.5 inches) I.D. tube and threads into a " NPT bung on the funnel. It is designed with fixed or removable Fritware® porous filter plates, supported by a multiple ring grid made from HDPE, measuring 6.4 mm (0.25 inches) thick, equipped with a non-porous ring at the periphery of the plate to seal filter paper during use. Fritware® porous filter plates come in two porosities: medium (45-90 microns) and coarse (90-130 microns), with a temperature range of maximum 52°C (125°F) and minimum -20°C (-4°F). The funnel also includes fixed or removable perforated filter plates, constructed from 4.8 mm (0.19 inches) thick HDPE, featuring 4.8 mm (0.19 inches) perforations on 11 mm (0.43 inches) centers. Perforated filter plates are available in two versions: fixed for coarse filtration or use with a cloth or paper filter, and removable for precious metals recovery, maintaining the same temperature range. To aid in the filtration process, use the F36820-0118 funnel trowel to quickly and efficiently smooth fissures. Note that truck shipping is required for 36" funnels.
