The polyethylene plastic table-top Buchner funnel is designed for efficient filtration of large volumes, featuring your choice of Fritware® or perforated filter plates. It includes a removable hose barbed connector that accepts 12.7mm I.D. tubing and threads into a " NPT bung on the funnel. The fixed or removable Fritware® porous filter plates are supported by a multiple ring grid made of HDPE, with a thickness of 6.4mm, and a non-porous ring at the edge that seals filter paper when in use. Fritware® filter plates are available in two porosities: medium (45-90 microns) and coarse (90-130 microns), with a use temperature range of -20°C (-4°F) to 52°C (125°F). The fixed or removable perforated filter plates are made of HDPE with a thickness of 4.8mm and feature perforations of 4.8mm on 11mm centers. These plates come in two versions: fixed for coarse filtration or for use with cloth or paper filters, and removable for precious metals recovery, also with a temperature range of -20°C (-4°F) to 52°C (125°F). Additionally, the F36820-0118 funnel trowel is included for smoothing fissures during the filtration process. Note that truck shipping is required for 36" funnels.
