The kit supports gradient makers, hot plates, flasks, beakers, baths, and other lab items with a weight capacity of up to 6.8kg (15lb). It is molded from strong polycarbonate and assembled without metal parts, making the plastic jack electrically non-conductive and suitable for immersion in baths or use in corrosive environments. It is also steam autoclavable at 121°C (250°F). The large height-adjusting knob allows for precise positioning, elevating from 7.6cm (3") to 30cm (12"). Both the top and bottom plates can be drilled for permanent attachment to benches or lab equipment using screws or bolts. The smooth, easy-to-clean top plate features a diameter of 21cm (8.25"), while a stainless steel support rod (sold separately) can be attached to a molded-in position in the top plate, enabling the use of various clamps and accessories, with dimensions of 46cmL (18") x 7.9mm dia. Additionally, a non-corroding polypropylene burette clamp (sold separately) is designed not to obscure graduations. The product is covered by a warranty.
