The high-density polyethylene jerricans feature a unique 20cm (8") long spout with a built-in air vent, designed for efficient pouring. The 5-gallon jerrican is equipped with a 2.5cm (1") I.D. pouring spout, while other sizes come with a 1.9cm (") I.D. spout. The spout retracts into the threaded collar to conserve space, and the collar is sealed by a leakproof screw cap to ensure secure storage. An extra hand grip located on the bottom of the jerrican provides positive control during pouring, and there is added headspace for the expansion of contents. The jerricans are graduated in both U.S. gallons and liters for precise measurement.
