Filter large volumes quickly with a polyethylene plastic table-top Buchner funnel that offers the choice of Fritware® or perforated filter plates. The removable hose barbed connector fits a 12.7mm (1/2") I.D. tube and threads into a 1" NPT bung on the funnel. It features fixed or removable Fritware® porous filter plates supported by a multiple ring grid made of HDPE, measuring 6.4mm (1/4") thick, with a non-porous ring at the periphery of the plate that seals filter paper when in use. The Fritware® porous filter plates are available in two porosities: medium (45-90 microns) and coarse (90-130 microns), with a use temperature range of a maximum of 52°C (125°F) and a minimum of -20°C (-4°F). The fixed or removable perforated filter plates are constructed from 4.8mm (3/16") thick HDPE and feature perforations of 4.8mm (3/16") on 11mm (7/16") centers. The perforated filter plates come in fixed versions for coarse filtration or for use with cloth or paper filters, and removable versions designed for precious metals recovery, maintaining the same temperature range. Additionally, the F36820-0118 funnel trowel is included to efficiently smooth any fissures that appear during the filtration process. Note that truck shipping is required for 36" funnels.
